Edith’s Pantry

Edith’s Pantry is our on-site food bank (not allergen-free), serving families and individuals in our community.

Edith’s Pantry gratefully receives funding through the United Church Mission Support Grant.

Clients can visit once a month to select a limited number of items from a variety of packaged/canned foods as well as health and hygiene items. Please contact us to confirm before coming. As a health precaution, you may wish to wear a mask while inside the church building.

Donations to our food bank are welcome during open hours. Please contact us to make an appointment.

Most needed: breakfast cereal (Rice Krispies/Cheerios), canned meats (corned beef, pork & beans), saltine/soda crackers, cans of pop, low-sodium soups, peanut butter, strawberry jam, jars of instant coffee, paper towels, individual tissue packets, solid deodorant sticks, body wash, adult diapers (large), hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes. Walmart gift cards ($10-$20) are always welcome.

Note: We cannot accept fresh/frozen foods; items beyond their shelf-life, or recalled items. We do our best to ensure that the donated food we offer is within best-before dates.

If we wouldn’t eat it ourselves, we won’t give it out!
